| When you enter Boudoir, everything seems to welcome you. The golden reflections on the walls and the bordeaux tones of the curtains wrap you warmly. You are surrounded by the scent of candles with essential oils, the light coming through the windows and the reflection from the water invites you to enjoy the wonderfull sight on the canal. Old coat racks, carpets and couches gives the illusion of being in an alcove from a century. Vases, lamps, candleholders and modern ceramics, match the intimate style of this place. On a table, there are hats, beads, chains, ribbons, needles and threads...it gives the impression of a taylor's shop. But it's not. Two frames are not showing pictures, but several eyeglasses, other pieces are displayed on top of a sideboard from the '40s and over a huge black dresser. The living room in Boudoir does not feel like an opticians store, but a fine space with an open atmosphere. You feel good here, perfectly comfortable. |
